🙋🏻‍♀️ Why entrust me with this mission ?

I deeply believe in the power of writing. Words remain, and by setting them down on a life, they reveal its path and meaning. Yet nothing predestined me to become a biographer.

Coming from an assimilated Sephardic Jewish family, I grew up with my grandmother’s stories from Casablanca and the sudden departure of my family from Morocco after the 1967 war. At the same time, I was fascinated by the stories of Jews from Eastern Europe and devoured countless memoirs of the Holocaust. The duty of memory is deeply rooted in me, as are the questions of identity linked to immigration and displacement.

✨ For years, I have been passionate about family sagas, social frescoes, and life stories. Above all, about committed literature that contributes to the duty of memory, as well as all the identity questions linked to immigration.

Today, I have decided to dedicate my passion to a mission and my pen to serving families.

Families in the diaspora — Ashkenazi, Sephardi, or from other backgrounds: I would be honored to capture your paths in words.
